Hope is often found in the form of many different things. But would you imagine that it could come in the form of something as small as a bracelet? I am so excited to share with each of you an exciting way for you to not only help fund our adoption, but also help equip parents in Haiti, with funds to help keep their families intact. Let me introduce you to The Apparent Project bracelet fundraiser… As described on their website, The Apparent Project is a work initiative designed to enable parents to provide for their children, to help the prevention of child relinquishment and abandonment in Haiti. {I LOVE THIS!!! } The artisans use discarded materials such as cereal boxes, oil drums and trash paper to create BEAUTIFUL “up-cycled” jewelry. While redeeming the Haitian landscape, these artisans are also bringing new hope to their families, employing themselves for a brighter future and earning the means to pay for their children’s food, shelter, and education. That means less orphans, less crime, less garbage, less stress, and a whole lot more beauty. If you want to read more about what this project does, check out their website here: www.apparentproject.org   How amazingly, beautiful is this?! Hope in the form of something so small. Not only will you be helping us bring Charlie home by buying one{or 10} of these bracelets, but you will also be helping a precious Momma or Daddy meet the needs to keep their children with them. Please take a moment to watch this video of the artisans in action.

Here are some examples of the bracelets we will be selling:

Each one comes with a little card telling you the name of the woman, or man who made it, and a little bit about their life. Stick it on your mirror, fridge or bulletin board, so that you will remember to pray for them each day. And each time you wear it I hope it will remind you to pray for Charlie and his or her family, wherever they may be. Ok, so how do you get one? It’s really easy! Go to the top of the page, look at the menu, and click on the tab, “Adoption Store“. You will be able to purchase them right from that page. Be sure to specify if you want to pick it up local, or if you would like it shipped. The price for each bracelet is $10, with $4 of that going right back to Haiti, to the artisans who made them. Also, you will notice a print in the store that my amazingly, talented Husband designed, which is also for sale. It is perfect to be framed and set on a mantle or hung on a wall. Just another way to be reminded to pray for our family. We can not thank each of you enough, for your continued love and support. Each time one of you sends me a message saying that you are lifting us up in prayer, it is another gentle reminder that this is possible. We are so eager to bring Charlie home to us, thank you for helping us make that possible. xoxo
